Jeroen Hoevers
Jeroen Hoevers is the owner of H. Rivkin. Prior to
ownership of the firm, he was an institutional broker-dealer
at the firm since 2004. Jeroen has an extensive career as both a
broker and trader in a diverse range of markets and industries.
Prior to his time at H. Rivkin, from 2000 to 2004, he was a Board
member of the video compression technology company Vidi Inc.
where he developed and executed the corporate business plan and
attracted investors. Jeroen spent the period of 1990 to 2000 in
a diverse set of roles in the energy and commodity industries.
From 1990 to 1996, Jeroen was a commodity trader for Cargill
Inc., trading a range of energy futures and commodities, in
addition to conducting market analysis. From 1996-2000 he was
President of Hoevers Energy LP, where he managed a portfolio of
energy futures and options.
Jeroen has a Master’s degree in Business Economics from the
Erasmus University in The Netherlands, where he graduated with
concentrations in finance and marketing. Subsequent to his time
at Erasmus Jeroen served as a Lieutenant in the Royal Dutch Navy.
Jeroen has his Series 7, 24, 27 and 57 qualifications. He is also
fluent in Dutch and English, as well as having proficiency in
German and French.
